This picture was taken circa 1992, 1993. A couple of my friends and I went backpacking in the Southern Sierra Mtn. near the Lake Edison area.  I remember losing my first Citizen's WindSurfer watch .  It fell out of my shirt pocket as I washing my face in the cold water.  I watched my watch went down the gorging river. It probably ended up in someone's sink or out in the San Francisco bay.

The trail was hot that year.  There was plenty of water in the creek along the trail.  This was my first trip backpacking in that area.  Elevation was close to 9000 feet as we climbed.
